Oldest, First Built Georgia Visitors Center in the state located at 8463 Burton's Ferry Hwy., Sylvania, Ga.
Dell Goodall House ( c. 1815). Town of Jacksonboro, Formerly Screven COunty Seat, was Destroyed by a curse. The Dell Goodall House is all that remains. (open by Appointment)

The Singllton House Bed & Breakfast is located at 209 Singleton Ave., Sylvania on the historic district section of dowtown Sylvania. Built in the 1860's.

Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area is a state owned hunting preserve with a year round hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, bird watching, bike riding, walking, or horseback riding on 15, 071 acres. Located on Brannen's Bridge Road in Screven County. (912) 829-3291

Robbins grist Mill is the only operating water powered grist mill in Georgia. Established in 1803, the mill operates each 1st and 3rd Saturday from October through APril. Located eight miles south of Sylvania on Highway 21.

 
The Old Clerk's office, currently housing the Screven County Chamber of Commerce, was established in 1896.

 
The wade Plantation, established in 1823, is one of the largest irrigated pecan orchards in the south. They also grow corn, soybeans, wheat and other crops. Mrs. Herman Hagan, a Screven County resident was the great grandaughter of John Roebling who designed and engineered the Broklyn Bridge.
