Birth
Records
Certified
copies of Birth Certificates can only be issued to the person
whose Birth Certificate is being requested, the parents or
guardian or legal representatives.
The fee to search for a birth record is $10.00 by certified
check or money order, if request is mailed.
The search fee is not refundable.

Full size - $10.00, each additional copy -

Wallet size - $10.00, each additional copy

Allow 4 – 6 weeks to process the birth certificate
before ordering certified copies.

Death
Records
The
fee to search for death records is $10.00. The fee includes a certified copy of the death
certificate, if the record is found.
Each additional copy paid at the same time is $5.00.

Marriage
Licenses
For
a marriage license, the bride and groom must both come to
the Probate Office to fill out the application. They must have a blood test signed by a doctor within the last five
to ten days. If the
bride or groom has been married before, he or she must have
a copy of the divorce decree. There is no waiting period and the license
is good for one year.
