The Clerk of Courts Office files civil and criminal cases, sends out jury notices and subpoenas, collects state court fines, issues
passports, and records deeds and plats.

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Passports
Furnishes applications, and will send.  There is a $60.00 fee for a passport.

Notary Public
They issue Certificate of Appointment for Notary Publics.  The fee is $15.00.

Plats
A plat must have the seal of the Zoning Board and signature.
The original is kept in the plat book in the Clerk’s office.

Traffic Fines
Collects traffic, state court, sheriff, natural resources and state patrol fines.

Warrants
For criminal and civil cases the office keeps the warrants on file.
