The Pound is operated by the Screven County Correctional Institution. Hours: Monday thru Friday – 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In order to adopt an animal from the pound, please obtain a form from the County Commissioners Office. There is a $5.00 fee plus a 7 day waiting period. All animals must receive their rabies shot in order to be adopted.
